Bor Eatery

The brief from Danish chef Kasper Petersen was to design a restaurant where the service of cooking and preparation was a theatrical experience for the customer. Most important was the ability to interact with his guests as if they were in his own kitchen at home.

Together we developed the concept of an open kitchen with three individual work stations for the kitchen, service bar and food display. These work stations became bespoke joinery units where the circulation of the chefs and bar staff dance around like a ‘stage’ in which the staff are on show.
