PEAK HOUSE

Located in a much-coveted inner city area, the brief was to create a new forever home to replace the existing family house.

Designed for multigenerational living, the home provides clear separation between the parents’ retreat and the spaces used by their adult children, while also supporting ageing in place.

The site backs onto a reserve, so the living areas are oriented towards the garden and the trees beyond, allowing the parkland to feel like a natural extension of the home.

Living spaces and studies are positioned to maximise natural light, while an airtight and acoustically considered envelope helps manage temperature, comfort and street noise, creating a calm and resilient home.
